the easter bunny came to visit us .....
as i awoke from my slumber this morning to the sounds of Emma talking to herself in her cot .... i stumbled out of my room to find a trail of easter eggs leading from the lounge room up the stairs to Mitchells room. whilst waiting for mitchell to wake up, i fed emma, boiled the kettle and was just about to make a cup of tea when i hear the sound of an elephant coming down the stairs (mitch likes to stomp down the stairs) as he turned the corner, i noticed that he had quite a few little easter eggs in his hands and he hadn't yet collected them all .... upon his face was a huge smile .. at the end of the trail he found more eggs and a Zac Power Book. The smile of his face said it all ... the Easter Bunny rocks :)
emma didn't miss out ... no eggs for her as she is still a little little .. but the wonderful easter bunny left her a really cool talking telephone .. she seemed very pleased with her new toy.

after an egg for breakfast (and a little something more substantial) we made the trek to visit the grandparents. ma and poppy were first where we recieved more chocolate, a wii game and a funky pillow. after spending the morning there we headed up to grandma and pops where once again more chocolate and more presents. we devoured a delicious lunch, went for a walk along the beach then headed home for a quiet afternoon.
all in all another happy easter in the wild household :)
