Our thoughts are with you ....

as the sun peaks through the cloudy sky giving everyone hope i sit here in my safe house on the hill, my thoughts drift to those in less fortuante areas throughout brisbane and surrounding suburbs. we have stopped watching the television as mitchell was glued to the screen watching it all unfold. not an image i want him to have to remember. brendan has gone into work to lend a hand in moving equipment to higher ground and will be home around lunch. i wasn't pleased with his decision but as we are in no danger here and i know that he wouldn't put himself in danger i let him go.

i have been googling the interent on ways which we can all help.
