Long time no post .... Firstly H A P P Y N E W Y E A R to you all. Hope 2011 brings you all the love and joy you all deserve.
Alot has happened since I was last posting on this blog .... i left off with the news of our new little arrival - Emma Jane. Emma is now 4 months old and is laughing, rolling and trying to crawl. Mitch has since turned a big 7 and is starting Grade 2 this year.
Christmas was busy ... travelling here, there and everywhere, not to mention that it rained almost everyday of the christmas break. Mitch was very spoilt and Emma wasn't overly concerned :) we started a new tradition this year by donating two small gifts to the KMart wishing tree. hopefully the children that received a boxes enjoyed their presents. some were handmade and the others were purchased. the family day care children also participated in adding a small gift to each of the boxes.
brendan surprised me with a family holiday to Hamilton Island in february .... sooo excited ... i can't wait ... what a wonderful man ... love him so much
both brendan and i took two weeks off which we both needed. we tried to make the most of our break with the kids by going to the movies to see Megamind and heading out to Gallery of Modern Art for their Art in the 21st Centrury exhibition.

the boys built a building to be placed in the lego citybut the holiday had to end and work had to resume .... i had missed all the extras running around our house but had enjoyed the break .....
i chose my word for 2011 ..... GROW i want to help my family grow to their full potential ... I want to grow as a person, as a mummy ... I want my FDC business to grow to it's full potential and I want to help all children in my care grow to be happy little vegemites :)
